The York County Young Democrats and the York College Democrats would like to cordially invite you to a special event marking the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.

On Monday, April 26, 2010 beginning at 7:00 pm, we will be offering a presentation by Tanya A. Dierolf, the Central Pennsylvania Outreach Coordinator for Citizens from Pennsylvania's Future (PennFuture).  Ms. Dierolf will provide a presentation on pressing environmental issues , including what PennFuture is working on at both the state and federal level. State priorities include legislation around the natural gas drilling boom and clean energy. Federal priorities include climate legislation and clean water policy as it relates to the Chesapeake Bay.

This event will be held on the campus of York College at the theater in the Appell Life-Science Building. Please follow this link for a map of the campus.

Light refreshments will also be provided.m
