Mission Statement
We
encourage young people to become involved in the Democratic Party,
governmental affairs, and the political process. We promote acquisition
of political power by young people and encourage the policies
and practices which are consistent with the highest principles
of the Democratic Party. We strive to advocate issues affecting
young people to elected officials and candidates while working
to elect Democratic candidates
to local, state, and federal government.

1. WE
BELIEVE that every citizen has the right to a 21st century education
from pre-k through college.
2. WE BELIEVE that environmental policy should
be based on sustainability, preservation, and conservation and
that our children need to inherit a cleaner environment than we
did.
3. WE BELIEVE every person should have
access to quality, affordable, comprehensive health care
throughout their lifetime.
4. WE BELIEVE that government has an active role
to play in its citizens lives, by way of being responsive, ethical,
and inclusive.
5. WE BELIEVE in equal rights for all - civil,
worker, privacy, and human rights.
